department as an external media agency during the hectic
summer season. Managing international media enquiries and
co-ordinating all logistics for media access into the club.

and music promoters to ensure the club’s reputation as the
worlds finest remains unchanged.
Third party product launches worked in conjunction with
Pacha include Campari Terrace launch, MTV and Campari
Red Passion Party, Pacha Vodafone launch, Pioneer CDJ 2000
launch and Pacha Model Competition.
Since 2003 Activate Marketing has been responsible for
all the media management and DJ/Artist talent liaison
for this annual international music award ceremony.

With past winners ranging from David Guetta, SHM,
Armin Van Buuren, Tiesto, and Sven Vath to Beatport,
WMC and Radio 1, the event aims to acknowledge the
true pioneers in the electronic dance music industries.

Launched in 2008 by Pete Tong, this award winning international electronic dance music conference is held annually in Ibiza, bringing together global key players from the dance music industry. Activate Marketing is responsible for all Spanish media management for the three-day summit, culminating in the open-air spectacular Grand Finale concert held at a UNESCO World Heritage site, Dalt Vila.
To coincide with the second anniversary and re-brand
of this fast-growing luxury online lifestyle magazine,
Activate Marketing sourced media opportunities specifically
within the UK market for further exposure of the brand.
Working with international magazines, newspapers and
online publications to increase the brand’s awareness
and actively grow the readership through exclusive media
partnerships and the development of specific content
targeting new readers, the brand is now exposed to a
much wider audience, incorporating music, tourism,
women’s lifestyle and luxury gourmet markets.
Designing the international media launch of an exclusive wine produced in Ibiza, Activate Marketing presented a series of intimate wine tastings set within the idyllic location of the Ibizkus vineyard to the international media. Given the nature of Ibiza’s very small winemaking community, this world-class event was the first of its kind in Ibiza, talked about in terms of creativity, individuality and imagination for many months following the event.
After the successful media launch of Ibizkus, Activate Marketing was once again commissioned by the parent brand to the wine to create a local media campaign launching the new Totem wines catalogue with a series of wine tastings and follow-up media consultancy
Supported the launch of the Cr2 Presents Live & Direct Space Compilation CD with an international media campaign and media launch party at the famous Space Club Ibiza. Activate Marketing created a custom-designed media campaign to expose this special CD compilation, which went on to become one of the best sold to date in Space’s long history of music production and sales.
Appointed to assist on the extras casting for this international cult film, shot on location in Ibiza, Activate Marketing was pivotal in recreating an authentic representation of the wide and varied spectrum of characters the island is famous for attracting. It’s All Gone Pete Tong went on to win 11 highly respected awards in the film industry.
Created a local media campaign aimed to further expose the globally recognised magazine brand, celebrating 10 years of their seasonal publication in Ibiza, in addition to a monthly UK edition. Activate Marketing organised an exclusive invite-only party to celebrate the brand’s anniversary, with the guest list roll call reading like the who’s who of the dance music industry.
Designed and developed local media campaign and launch party for the exclusive beach club and restaurant owned by Azuli Records owner and director, David Piccioni. Having taken the reins for the first time in 2009, the new owner completely transformed this venue into a must-visit dining destination in Ibiza, and Activate Marketing was responsible for communicating the restaurant’s new direction, name change and key points of difference.
Appointed by an American promoter, to oversee all the marketing for a summer season of parties bought over for the very first time from across the Atlantic to the shores of Ibiza. These summer parties included a line-up of some of USA’s most celebrated house DJs, including Masters of Work, Todd Terry and Armand Van Helden. In a market with extremely strong ties to the UK dance music industry, Activate Marketing rose to this challenge ensuring the breakthrough of these artists on ibiza soil.
To support an innovative new venture in Ibiza in 2010, Activate Marketing structured a local media plan to launch a bi-annual property auction and expo. Based on successful UK events, the concept was completely unique to the Ibiza property market and received much publicity from local media resulting in strong attendance at the event and leading the way for future events.
